Graduate students perform most of the research at UW—Madison, and it’s up to us to build a culture that values and propagates safety. The Graduate Student Safety Committee (GSSC) is a group of volunteers who represent every department in the College of Engineering and who interface directly with professors, the college’s safety board, and the College Safety Office.
Our goal is to provide graduate students with more engaging opportunities to learn about safety—to go above and beyond the video lectures.
